AUCTIONS
If auction is your preferred route, we can support you through every stage of selling your car. We work closely with the UK’s leading auction houses, helping you choose the right venue and sale for your supercar, classic or collectible.
Thanks to our established relationships and the volume of cars we introduce, we can usually secure discounted entry fees, saving you money before we even get the car to the Auction. From discussing valuations and reserves to coordinating your entry and presentation, we handle the details and keep you informed throughout. Nothing beats a third party opinion when selling a special car.
How It Works
Step 1. Tell us about your car
Complete our quick online form with your car’s make, model, mileage and a few details about its history and condition. There’s an auction house to suit almost every car and price point, although we generally work with cars valued at £20,000 or more. Tell us what you’re selling and we’ll help find the right fit.
Step 2. Get an initial guide
We’ll call to learn more about your car, discuss your expectations and provide an initial valuation guide. We’ll also talk through your preferred timescale and what you’d like to achieve from the sale.
Step 3. Find the right Auction
We’ll establish which auction house and sale best suit your car, considering its value, likely buyers, location and timing. Through our relationships with leading UK auction houses, we can usually secure discounted entry fees too.
Step 4. Get ready for auction
Once you’re happy with the proposed auction, we’ll coordinate the introduction, entry and supporting information, guiding you through the estimate, reserve and auction fees so you know what to expect. We can also assist with cataloguing and arrange collection and transport to the auction, with any associated costs agreed in advance.
Step 5. From Auction to completion
We’ll stay in touch throughout the auction and guide you through the outcome and next steps. Sale, payment and collection arrangements will follow the auction house’s terms, with us on hand to support you through to completion.

How much do you charge?
Our service fee is 1% + VAT of your car’s agreed reserve price (Minimum £295+vat), payable upon consignment to the auction. This fee applies whether or not your car sells. The auction house’s fees and any agreed additional costs are separate.
Do you receive a fee from the auction house?
No. We receive no commission or introduction fee from the auction house. We work on your behalf, keeping our role transparent and our focus on your interests.
Can you save me money on auction fees?
Through our relationships and the volume of cars we introduce, we can usually negotiate discounted entry fees. We’ll explain the proposed savings alongside our fee and the auction house’s charges before you commit.
How is the reserve price agreed?
We’ll discuss your expectations and the auction house’s valuation to help establish a realistic reserve. This is the minimum price at which you authorise the car to sell under the auction house’s terms, and you approve it before proceeding.
What information will you need?
We’ll ask for the specification, mileage, condition, service history, ownership details and photographs. Information about recent maintenance, restoration work and any known faults helps create an accurate catalogue description.
Can you help with cataloguing and photographs?
Yes. We can help gather the information and coordinate with the auction house to present your car properly. Any additional photography or preparation costs will be discussed in advance.
Can you arrange transport to the auction?
Yes. We can help arrange collection and transport to the auction venue, with the transport costs confirmed before you proceed.
What happens if my car sells?
The auction house will confirm the result and explain its payment and collection process. We’ll remain on hand to help with the next steps and support you through to completion.
What happens if my car doesn’t sell?
We’ll discuss the result with you and speak to suitable buyers within our network to try to secure an offer outside the auction. Any approach will be coordinated around the auction house’s post-sale terms and any continuing exclusivity. We’ll present offers for your consideration and explain any applicable fees before you agree to a sale.
Is your service fee still payable if my car doesn’t sell?
Yes. Our 1% + VAT fee is payable upon consignment and covers our work arranging and supporting your auction entry, regardless of the outcome. If the car remains unsold, we’ll also try to find a buyer through our network.
When will I receive payment?
Payment timescales depend on the auction house’s terms and receipt of the buyer’s funds. We’ll help you understand these arrangements before consignment and remain available if you need support afterwards.
